COSMO Booking / Deposit and Refund Policy |
Bookings:
- When making a group reservation for 10 people or more we require a deposit of £5 per person with the exception of the special festivals mentioned in the point below.
- During the Christmas period, Father's Day, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day deposits are required for tables of 6 people or more.
- The deposit must be paid no later than 48 hours before your reservation and for the total number of people booked for. This deposit will need to be paid in cash in the restaurant. We cannot take deposits over the phone or by cheque.
- The deposit will secure the table reservation for the party for up to 15 minutes after the agreed reservation time. Thereafter the reservation is null and void. However we will endeavour to accommodate you as and when your party arrives.
- In the event of your party running late it is the responsibility of you to inform the restaurant, so that we can make arrangements to find you a new table as soon as we can.
- If you haven't paid a deposit your table reservation for parties of 10 people or over will be null and void. However we will endeavour to seat you as soon as we can.
- The party will only be seated once the majority of guests have arrived.
- Your table is available to you for a maximum of 1 hour and 45 minutes during our busy times. This is at the management's discretion and done on a case by case basis.
- All guests sitting in the restaurant are considered to be eating. We do not allow those not eating to be seated at a table just for drinking, therefore anyone sat in the restaurant will be charged for a meal at the relevant session’s meal tariff. Anyone wishing to sit with friends or family but not eating must make a request to the restaurant management 24 hours in advance and it will be at our management’s discretion whether to allow.
- COSMO Management reserve the right to require customers to pay for their meal before being seated.
- Booking via the website needs to be done and confirmed by the relevant restaurant at least 24 hours before the reservation day/time, if not, the reservation can only be accepted by phone.
Note: Our restaurants get very busy particularly on weekends and Bank holidays and we cannot guarantee a table if you are late or have not paid the deposit.
- COSMO reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the deposit / refund / booking policy without prior notice.

Refunds:
Deposit refunds will only be considered if a cancellation is made a minimum of 24 hours before the reservation time.
- Refunds will not be considered in part payment if some people in your group don’t show up, unless over 24 hours notice is given of the amended numbers.

Timings:
- We operate a maximum of 1 hour 45 minutes seating policy during our busy sessions such as (Friday, Saturday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Bank Holidays and Mother /Father Days).
- The 1 hour 45 minutes policy will start at your reservation time and our 1 hour 45 minutes policy will run from this time and not when the last of the party arrives.
- The last entry for the restaurant is 30 minutes prior to closing.
- The food on the banquet will cease to be replenished at this time and the food will start to be brought in 15 minutes prior to closing.
- At the discretion of the management small dishes of food will be produced during the 30 minutes before closing time.
- Where a party has made no reservation we cannot guarantee a table for the full 1 hour 45 minutes.

Children:
- Children over 1.50m in height or over 13 years of age will be charged the full adult meal cost. However this is at the discretion of the management but as a guide please refer to the height scale in the restaurant.
- Minimum charge applies for infants, please enquire with relevant restaurant when booking.

Live Cooking :
- Please note that not all COSMO restaurants have Live Cooking stations. Check your chosen restaurant's page on the website for the live cooking icons.
- We do not guarantee serving a particular dish at any time. All dishes are subject to availability and what our chef selects for that day.

Lunch :
- The lunch menu varies from the evening menu.

Lost & Found Property :
- COSMO accepts no liability for any items that are lost.
- Where it is not possible to return an item to its original owner within the nominated period, it will be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner where possible. This includes donations to registered charities.

Offers :
- If and when any offers are running at a particular restaurant they will be subject to these terms and conditions:
- Any offer is subject to availability of that restaurant only.
- Where a special offer is running, a limited amount of seats are allocated for that offer.
- Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
- You must pre book 24 hours in advance and quote the name of that particular promotion to get the offer.
- The offer is only redeemable if a valid voucher / flier / coupon is presented to a member of staff and the table is booked in advance (see above).
