TREAT YOUR TASTEBUDS TO OUR INDIAN BUFFET
Over centuries and centuries, Indian chefs have drawn together recipes from a complex tapestry of regions and cultures. What we call Indian food is actually the result of influences from all four compass points of India – and further afield.
Indian cuisine is a wonderful mixture of traditions from China, Mongolia, Persia and the Americas. Chilis were introduced to India by Portuguese explorer Vasco di Gama in the 16th century, with potatoes following soon after. Both are now integral parts of Indian cuisine, which is great for both vegetarians and meat-eaters.
